Bash - Setting Spray

I have been wanted to try a setting spray for ages but I just can't fork over the money for MAC's version before knowing if it is a product that I will use daily, so I decided I would start by trying E.L.F's Mist and Set... needless to say I'm not extremely distraught about this product, but I'm not happy either. So, here is another Bash: 

What it is: 
"Wish you could have a product for your makeup like Hairspray is for your hair? Well…keep your makeup staying in place all day with a radiance boosting invisible hold with our new Makeup Mist & Set. The invigorating mist moisturizes and soothes the skin with key ingredients Aloe, Green Tea, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E. The lightweight, comfortable and alcohol free formula improves makeup wearability and prevents color from running or fading."


Why I dislike it: 
I want to start by saying that yes, I do believe it helps my makeup stay on all day. With that being said, I don't like the smell. Secondly, it is really hard to get an even application onto your face. You can't just point and spray towards your face because it ends up forcing large droplets onto select spots without any even application. I have found that the best way to get a "mist" with this product is to spray it in the air and let the moisture fall onto my face. Lastly, this stings my eyes. Yes, I close my eyes when I spray it onto my face... but when I let it dry and open my eyes my eyes start watering bad. It's not super painful, it just takes off any eyeliner I applied onto my waterline seconds ago... In summary, the product does what it says but it comes with a sacrifice of application, irritation, and terrible smell (which is an opinion thing). Hope this helps...
