Victoria Secret Fragrance Haul & Review

This past weekend I was trying to buy some time waiting for a friend to get into town for a visit so I ran to the mall for a quick splurge. It all started when I was "shopping" online, which really only consists of me putting everything I would EVER want into the shopping cart and then looking to see what the damage would be if I could honestly afford to buy everything... needless to say, keep dreaming Danielle! I digress, I was "shopping" online with  my BFF - Victoria Secret and I have been wanting to try out two of their lines of fragrances. However, I would never buy fragrances online, I just have to smell them! So when I saw that the fragrances I was intrigued by were on sale, I decided a field trip was definitely needed. Overall, I think I did pretty good, it's very hard for me to go into VS and not get either the 5/$25 underwear or clothing by PINK. I just absolutely love both!!! BUT, let me show you what I did get:

I bought three of the VS Sheer Fragrance Mists - 8.4 fl oz
I bought three of the VS Sheer Fragrance Mists - 8.4 fl oz
Normally $12 each but they are on sale for 3 for $15.
(From Left to Right are Kissing In Paris, Girl' Night, and Room 504)

Descriptions
Kissing In Paris: "For when you're feeling adventurous... Discover the thrill of love, laughter and lots of ooh la la in this crisp floral scent. Spring iris and fresh dew make sparks fly."

Girls Night: "For when you're feeling flirty... Slip into your heels and get ready to dance all night in this fun, fruity scent. Electric with pink peony and waterlily."

Room 504: "For when you're feeling sexy... An evening of 'Do Not Disturb' is the inspiration for this warm scent. A sultry blend of amber and passionfruit."

My thoughts
First and foremost I need to stress that these are "Sheer Fragrance Mists." I always knew that fragrance mists are not going to last very long. You know, the kind of scents you had in your gym locker in High School. Not only are these scents a mist, but they are a SHEER mist, and SHEER is the perfect word. Seriously, you can smell these from a distance for maybe an hour. With that being said I really like these for when I'm just lounging around the house. When I come home and walk into my room you can bet I will walk out of my room with one of these on.

The descriptions are pretty much dead on for each scent. When I'm feeling flirty I do reach for Girls Night and when I'm feeling a little edgy I do indeed reach for Kissing In Paris. Feeling sexy? Doesn't happen that much, but with that being said I think that Room 504 I have used the most of so far...

Overall, good purchase, they smell delicious! Just don't purchase these mists if you are in the market for something to last you all day. It won't happen unless you feel like spraying every half hour.

Okay

I also bought three of the small PINK All-Over Body Mists - 2.5 fl oz.
$8.00 Each, however the larger ones are 2 for $22 and 3 for $30
(From Left to Right: Lovely & True, Pretty & Pure, Sweet & Flirty)

Descriptions
Lovely & True: "Smells so lovely with orchid and pink peppercorns."

Pretty & Pure: "Scented with a delicate blend of pure jasmine & pink lemonade."

Sweet & Flirty: "Scented with a sparkling mix of sweet sugar berry and pink grapfruit."

My thoughts
Again, you need to be aware that these are "Mists." I really enjoy these quite a bit. When I was looking through the scents some of them were DEFINITELY not for me. Some are more geared to certain age groups I think and being 23 I would rather not smell like I'm twelve. However, I really liked these three for something a little lighter than my perfumes which are, for the most part, pretty warm and rich. These add some diversity to my collection.

The descriptions, I feel, are very vague. L&T is positively floral! I generally am not to keen on pure florals but this one surprised my nostrils. This one probably comes in second place out of the three. P&P is nice. I don't smell the pink lemonade though... It reminds me of innocence if that makes any sense. I would say this brings up the rear in third place out of the three, however I still like it obviously. Lastly S&F is probably my favorite of the three, it is a close race though. I can barely smell the grapefruit but the berry is very present.

Again, I think a good purchase! I've been wanting to try these for a while so I am very excited to finally own three. I did purchase the small ones because I don't feel I wouldn't use the big ones up and I really do not like to waste product. If I end up falling in love with one of them I can always go back and get the big one.
