Rave - Pigments

I am new to pigments, and it really took some trial and error to figure out how to work with them but I have loved all results I have gotten by using these. Today's Rave: Urban Decay Loose Pigments:

What they are:
Color-intense, super-fine pigments in a rainbow of shades. Try a little for a sheer wash of color, or layer for bold, shimmering hues. The spill-proof tube even includes a high-quality brush. These powdery-fine, silky soft shadows deliver more intense color than pressed or cream eye shadows. Try a little for a sheer wash of color, or layer for bold, shimmering hues. With everything from bold brights to pretty neutrals, there's something for everyone!

Why I love them:
Whenever I am want to really rev up a look are put a little extra pop I like to use these pigments. They make the color so much more vibrant. However with my love of these there is a downside. There will be fallout so I have to make sure I use my liquid liner on my upper lid otherwise you will lose your pencil liner in the mix. They also don't last all day while I'm at school, but they will last the night if I'm applying my makeup later in the afternoon. The pigments are a little bit of a hassle to use just because they can make a mess if your not careful and you want to make sure your using the right tools to apply (eyeshadow base and a good packing brush). They come in a variety of colors some more neutral but there are some very fun colors for those of you feeling adventurous! I used Graffiti (their green pigment) on St. Patrick's day for a very fun look!

Where you can get them:
I got mine on Hautelook.com,
otherwise you can get them online for $8 and up.
