Rave - Eyelash Curler

I don't know about you, but I really am not a fan of curling my lases. Maybe it's my eye shape or maybe I'm just "special" but I never really got the hang of that old school torture contraption! So I tried for year but always end up squealing in pain from pinching my eye lid. So, one day while wondering the shelves at my local Ulta and buying things I don't have the money for I came across this wonderful tool which I never knew existed. My rave for today - the Japonesque Heated Mini Eyelash Curler:

Why I like it: 
Like I said above, I really never got the proper form of the pinching curlers. I think that this curler is easy to use. You just turn it on, wait about then seconds for it to heat up and comb up threw your lases. I make a couple passes holding it a little longer on the end of the lashes. You can use it before or after you apply mascara however I apply it after my mascara has dried. Now I will say that the curl doesn't last all day. I tend to curl in the morning and then I throw it in my purse and re-curl whenever I have a chance. The nice thing is that it's compact so it really isn't an for travel. Also, I will say that heated curlers aren't for everyone. I read some reviews online and some people hate this item. Probably because they are pros at using the other tool, but if you cannot figure out the science behind the crimping-style curler like myself, than I would suggest trying this. I want to add one more thing, some people are turned off from this product because it is heated and they are worried about getting burned. It is warm but I have by no means gotten burnt yet. I actually find that the heat is relaxing and is the hottest when using a fresh battery. I own it in the pink shown above but it also comes in a sleek black packaging as well. 


I want to stress that there are some bad reviews online so remember that this is my personal opinion and that this product may not be for everyone. Probably best to do some more research before purchasing.
