What it is:
Black Shatter is a specialty nail polish from OPI's Katy Perry Collection that was released earlier this year. You're supposed to apply one coat of Black Shatter over any completely dry shade for an irresistible "shattered" look.
Why I love it:
I love to mix up my nails based on how I'm feeling. One week it may be all different nudes meaning I'm pretty chill, or neons meaning I'm feeling energetic, or even dark colors meaning I'm feeling edgy. Well I have never felt edgier then when I put on the black shatter. It takes edgy to a whole new level. Not only is it uber cool, but it is so easy, anyone can do this! All you have to do is put one coat on top of dry nail polish and within seconds it starts to crackle right before your eyes. Awesome! It seems to be holding up good too, I did put a top coat on and I did dishes, the color didn't even seemed phased! I'm. in. love.
Where you can get it:
It's hard to find this polish, at least where I'm from. I did find it while out shopping with my mother at my local Ulta but I have heard that people have had to ask at check out because they stock them up there. Best advice I can give you is to ask. Here's what I came up with though:

I do know that China Glaze copied OPI with a crackle line of different colors shortly after OPI's Black Shatter took off. I do not own that line however so I don't know how it compares to Black Shatter. Let me know if you have compared the two, I'd be curious how much they are similar.
